Human Basic Salivary Proline Rich Protein 2/PRB2 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody kit specifically designed for the accurate detection of PRB2 levels in human saliva samples. PRB2 is a key salivary protein involved in oral health and immune response, and alterations in its levels may be indicative of oral diseases, autoimmune disorders, and systemic health conditions. The kit has confirmed reactivity for human specimens.

The assay is compatible with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. It delivers a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a quantitative range of 78.125-5000 pg/mL. Linearity has been established for serum (n=5) at 85-103%, 86-97%, and 88-101% across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions; EDTA plasma (n=5) at 83-99%, 83-93%, and 83-99%; and heparin plasma (n=5) at 80-100%, 84-98%, and 82-98%. Recovery averages 97% for serum, 94% for EDTA plasma, and 96% for heparin plasma. The procedure uses a biotin-labeled detection antibody followed by HRP-Streptavidin binding and TMB substrate development, with absorbance read at 450 nm. Components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
