Human BAI3/Brain-specific angiogenesis inhibitor 3 ELISA Kit

A high quality Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of human Brain-specific angiogenesis inhibitor 3 (BAI3). The kit is intended for use with human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Detection is colorimetric and is read at 450 nm following TMB substrate development and addition of stop solution.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and an assay range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Linearity in serum (n=5) is 85–103% at 1:2, 85–101% at 1:4 and 81–97% at 1:8; in EDTA plasma (n=5) 85–98%, 82–95% and 83–98%; and in heparin plasma (n=5) 89–101%, 86–99% and 81–85%. Recovery averages are 94% for serum (range 88–99), 94% for EDTA plasma (range 86–104) and 93% for heparin plasma (range 86–103). All components should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months, with lyophilised standard and microplate strips additionally stable for 12 months at -20°C.
