Human B7 homolog 6 (B7H6) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the accurate and sensitive detection of Human B7 homolog 6 (B7H6) levels in human samples, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is intended for research use only.

B7H6 belongs to the B7 family and is selectively expressed on tumor cells. Interaction of B7H6 with NKp30 (NCR3) results in natural killer (NK) cell activation and cytotoxicity, and the protein functions to trigger NCR3-dependent natural killer cell activation. B7H6 has emerged as a potential target for cancer immunotherapy, making the kit a tool for studying its role in cancer progression and immune regulation within immunology research.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.12ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 5.4% and an inter-assay CV of 6.9%. Linearity in serum ranges from 98-108% (1:2) to 80-90% (1:16); EDTA plasma from 85-97% (1:2) to 98-108% (1:16); heparin plasma from 98-108% (1:2) to 110-119% (1:16). Recovery averages 99% in serum (range 93-105%) and 101% in plasma (range 95-107%). The target is a monomeric, single-pass type I cell membrane protein (UniProt Q68D85) with a molecular weight of 50,827 Da, and the assay specifically detects natural and recombinant human Natural cytotoxicity triggering receptor 3 ligand 1.
