Human B3GALT1 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a Human B3GALT1 ELISA Kit, a competitive (antigen coated) enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of B3GALT1 in human samples including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay is intended for research use only.

B3GALT1 is an enzyme involved in glycosylation with roles in cell signaling, cell adhesion, and immune response, and its dysregulation has been associated with cancer, inflammatory disorders, and genetic syndromes. The kit has a reported sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a standard range of 78.125-5000 pg/mL. The microplate is pre-coated with antigen, and detection uses a biotinylated antibody, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm. A Bradford Reagent is included for total protein quantification. Components are stored at 2-8°C and the sealed kit should not be cryopreserved.

Reported linearity for serum (n=10) is 87-105% at 1:2, 83-88% at 1:4, and 86-100% at 1:8; EDTA plasma 89-105%, 84-99%, 80-100%; heparin plasma 92-104%, 83-95%, 80-100%. Recovery ranges are 85-103% (serum), 87-99% (EDTA plasma), and 85-101% (heparin plasma), each averaging 93%.
