Human B-cell receptor CD22 (CD22) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative detection of human B-cell receptor CD22, a B-cell surface receptor also referred to as B-lymphocyte cell adhesion molecule, Sialic acid-binding Ig-like lectin 2, T-cell surface antigen Leu-14, BL-CAM, Siglec-2, and SIGLEC2. The kit uses a colorimetric detection method, is reactive with human samples, and is intended for research use only, with applications in the cancer research area.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 78.0–5000 pg/mL, a sensitivity of 39 pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 4.5%, and an inter-assay CV of 8.9%. Linearity has been validated across serum (89–115%), EDTA plasma (81–111%), and heparin plasma (82–115%) at dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16. Recovery is 101% (95–107) in serum and 103% (97–109) in plasma. Specificity is confirmed against natural and recombinant human B-cell receptor CD22 (UniProt P20273).

Acceptable sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. CD22 mediates B-cell–B-cell interactions, binds sialylated glycoproteins including CD45, and plays a role in regulating B-cell antigen receptor signaling; its dysregulation has been linked to autoimmune diseases, B-cell malignancies, and other immune system disorders, supporting its value as a biomarker for immunological research.
