Human B-Cell CLL/Lymphoma 11A (Bcl11A) ELISA Kit

Bcl11A is a C2H2-type zinc finger transcriptional repressor originally identified at a recurrent chromosomal breakpoint in B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia, giving the protein its CLL/Lymphoma 11A designation. Beyond its namesake role in lymphoid neoplasia, Bcl11A is best studied as the dominant repressor of fetal hemoglobin (HbF) in adult erythroid cells: loss-of-function variants derepress HbF and ameliorate sickle cell disease and beta-thalassemia phenotypes, while B-cell-restricted expression links the factor to lymphocyte maturation. This Assay Genie kit provides a quantitative colorimetric immunoassay for human Bcl11A in tissue homogenates and cell lysates, supporting research on hemoglobin switching, B-cell development, and lymphoma biology.
