Human Azurocidin (AZU1) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human Azurocidin (AZU1), also known as cationic antimicrobial protein CAP37 and heparin-binding protein (HBP), in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit is intended for research use only and is reactive with human samples, with specificity for natural and recombinant human azurocidin.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.041 ng/mL. Intra-assay precision is reported at 4.9% CV and inter-assay precision at 8.2% CV. Recovery averages 86% (range 80–92) for serum and 88% (range 82–94) for plasma, with linearity demonstrated across serial dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Azurocidin is a neutrophil granule-derived antimicrobial and monocyte- and fibroblast-specific chemotactic glycoprotein relevant to immunology research, with UniProt accession P20160.
