Human Autoimmune Regulator/AIRE ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Autoimmune Regulator (AIRE), a key transcription factor involved in self-tolerance and autoimmune disease. The double-antibody assay supports research into the mechanisms underlying autoimmune conditions and the identification of potential therapeutic targets, with the Epigenetics and Nuclear Signaling research area highlighted. Target synonyms include AIRE, APECED, APS1, APSI, and PGA1 (Uniprot O43918).

Validated for human samples, the kit is suitable for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Detection is colorimetric, with absorbance read at 450 nm following TMB substrate development. Reported linearity across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions is 99-105%, 83-100%, 84-100% for serum (n=5); 88-103%, 84-99%, 82-97% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 93-103%, 83-101%, 83-94% for heparin plasma (n=5). Recovery data show serum (n=5) 88-102% with an average of 97%; EDTA plasma (n=5) 89-104% averaging 96%; and heparin plasma (n=5) 90-105% averaging 100%.

The kit should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
