Human Autoimmune regulator (AIRE) ELISA Kit

A colorimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie intended for the measurement of human Autoimmune regulator (AIRE), a transcription factor that promotes self-tolerance in the thymus by regulating the expression of tissue-restricted antigens. The assay is reactive with human samples and is intended for immunology research, with validated protocols for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

Performance characteristics reported by the manufacturer include a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.2 ng/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 6.4% and an inter-assay CV of 10.3%. Linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for serum (108–119%, 88–98%, 91–103%, 81–93%), EDTA plasma (92–101%, 90–99%, 103–113%, 93–103%) and heparin plasma (107–119%, 93–103%, 96–106%, 93–102%). Recovery averages 86% (range 80–92%) for serum and 88% (range 82–94%) for plasma. The kit is specific for natural and recombinant human AIRE and is for research use only.
