Human ATP-binding cassette sub-family A member 1 (ABCA1) ELISA Kit

The assay is reactive with human samples and supports cardiovascular research, reflecting ABCA1's involvement in cellular cholesterol homeostasis and lipid metabolism, with dysregulation implicated in atherosclerosis.

Validated performance includes a detection range of 0.156-10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.039 ng/mL, with intra-assay CV of 4.7% and inter-assay CV of 8.0%. Linearity in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma yielded recovery values between 80% and 119% across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16. Mean recovery was 101% for serum (range 95-107%) and 103% for plasma (range 97-109%). Specificity is for natural and recombinant human Phospholipid-transporting ATPase ABCA1, and the kit is for research use only.
