Human ATOX1 ELISA

The Human ATOX1 ELISA from Assay Genie quantitatively measures Antioxidant 1 Copper Chaperone (ATOX1; also known as HAH1), a 7.4 kDa copper-binding protein that mediates intracellular copper ion transport and delivery to cuproenzymes including superoxide dismutase 1 and cytochrome c oxidase. ATOX1 research has expanded into studies of Wilson disease, Menkes disease, placental copper transport, tumor angiogenesis, and neurodegeneration. The kit is supplied with a pre-coated microplate, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, calibrated recombinant human ATOX1 standards, wash buffer, chromogenic substrate, and stop solution. Each well uses approximately 100 µL of serum or plasma sample, with sufficient reagents for 96 determinations. Standard curve concentrations span the working detection range required for endogenous ATOX1 measurement, with reported sensitivity in the low ng/mL range. All components should be stored refrigerated, protected from light, and equilibrated to room temperature prior to use. Intended for research use only; not for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
