Human ATGA/TGAB/Anti-Thyroid-Globulin Antibody ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers this Sandwich ELISA kit for the in vitro quantitative determination of Human ATGA/TGAB (Anti-Thyroid Globulin Antibody) concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. Anti-thyroid globulin antibodies are relevant to autoimmune thyroid conditions such as Hashimoto's thyroiditis and Graves' disease, and monitoring these antibodies can aid in the diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of such conditions, as well as in tracking disease progression and response to therapy.

The assay uses a colorimetric Sandwich ELISA, Double Antigen detection method and is reactive with human samples. Reported sensitivity is 1.875 ng/ml with an assay range of 3.125–200 ng/ml. Spiked-recovery averages are 93% for serum (range 89–98%), 93% for EDTA plasma (range 85–105%) and 92% for UFH plasma (range 86–99%). Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions spans 85–105% for serum, 82–101% for EDTA plasma and 81–99% for UFH plasma. Intra-Assay CV is reported as <8% and Inter-Assay CV as <10%. The kit is for Research Use Only and is stored at 4°C for 6 months.
