Human ATF4/Activating Transcription Factor 4 ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative detection of ATF4 levels in rat samples, this sandwich, double-antibody ELISA from Assay Genie provides a sensitive tool for research into stress responses, protein synthesis, and metabolism. ATF4 dysregulation has been linked to cancer, diabetes, and neurodegenerative disorders, making reliable measurement valuable for studying these conditions.

The assay delivers a sensitivity of 28.125 pg/mL and a working range of 46.875-3000 pg/mL, and has been validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions was 88-103% / 85-97% / 81-99% for serum (n=5), 87-103% / 89-99% / 80-96% for EDTA plasma (n=5), and 85-104% / 89-102% / 82-100% for heparin plasma (n=5). Spike-and-recovery averaged 93% in serum (88-100% range, n=5), 94% in EDTA plasma (90-101% range, n=5), and 92% in heparin plasma (85-103% range, n=5).

The workflow begins with equilibrating reagents and the TMB substrate to room temperature and loading standards, samples and blanks onto the pre-coated plate, followed by primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotinylated detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB colour development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after stop solution is added. All kit components are stored at 2-8°C, where the kit remains stable for 12 months.
