Human Asporin/ASPN ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Asporin (ASPN), a protein also referenced by the synonyms OS3, PLAP-1, PLAP1, SLRR1C, and periodontal ligament-associated protein 1. It uses a double-antibody sandwich configuration with colorimetric detection based on TMB substrate, and absorbance is read at 450 nm.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and an assay range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. Linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions, yielding serum values of 88-103%, 90-104%, and 90-100%; EDTA plasma values of 90-99%, 86-100%, and 86-94%; and heparin plasma values of 80-100%, 84-90%, and 84-97%. Spike-and-recovery testing returned ranges of 90-103% (average 96%) for serum, 85-101% (average 93%) for EDTA plasma, and 89-102% (average 95%) for heparin plasma.

The kit accepts human liquid samples including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, and cell or tissue lysates, and is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
