Mammalian cells maintain asparagine pools through Asparagine Synthetase (ASNS), a glutamine-dependent enzyme that connects amino acid metabolism to stress-response signaling and to the cytotoxic action of L-asparaginase in lymphoid cancer therapy. The Assay Genie Human Asparagine Synthetase (ASNS) ELISA Kit is built to quantify ASNS protein in research samples spanning this same biology, supporting studies in oncology, metabolic stress, and enzyme regulation.

The assay is supplied as a complete reagent set formatted for 96 determinations in a microplate arrangement, with colorimetric readout. Included components are pre-coated plate, biotinylated detection antibody, recombinant protein standard, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, chromogenic substrate solution, wash buffer, and stop solution. Sample compatibility covers clarified cell lysates, tissue homogenates, and protein extracts prepared from human blood-derived specimens.

The kit supports investigations of ATF4-driven transcription under amino acid deprivation, ASNS induction during the integrated stress response and unfolded protein response, and the emergence of asparaginase resistance in lymphoid malignancies. Researchers can compare baseline expression across cancer cell lines, monitor enzyme induction following nutrient or oxidative stress stimuli, and quantify ASNS abundance in patient-derived tissue specimens.

For research use only. Reagent handling follows standard immunoassay practice, with kit components stored as specified on the accompanying product insert until first use.
