Human Asialoglycoprotein Receptor 2/ASGR2 ELISA Kit

A colorimetric Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of human Asialoglycoprotein Receptor 2 (ASGR2). The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich format and is validated for use with human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Kit components are supplied for storage at 2-8°C for 12 months. Reported linearity values across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions range from 85% to 104%, and spike-and-recovery across the same matrices ranges from 85% to 105%, with average recoveries of 94% in serum, 92% in EDTA plasma, and 95% in heparin plasma.

ASGR2 is a hepatic lectin involved in the recognition and endocytic clearance of glycoproteins by hepatocytes, and its dysregulation has been linked to liver diseases including viral hepatitis and liver cancer, making it a marker of interest in studies of liver physiology and pathology. The standard workflow includes a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, a 60-minute biotinylated detection antibody step, a 30-minute HRP-streptavidin binding step, TMB color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after stop solution addition.
