Human Arylsulfatase D (ARSD) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this colorimetric sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Arylsulfatase D (ARSD), a lysosomal sulfatase encoded on chromosome Xp22.3 that contributes to the metabolism of sulfated steroids and carbohydrates. The kit is supplied for research use only.

The assay has a detection range of 0.78–50 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.24 ng/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 5.3% and an inter-assay CV of 9.4%. It has been validated with serum, plasma (EDTA and heparin), tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and shows reactivity to natural and recombinant human ARSD.

ARSD is a member of the sulfatase family, and its dysregulation has been linked to lysosomal storage disorders and cancer, making this kit relevant to studies of disease pathogenesis, progression and potential therapeutic targets. The associated UniProt entry is P51689.
