Human Arylsulfatase B/ARSB PharmaGenie ELISA Kit (SBRS0281)

Built for quantitative measurement of human arylsulfatase B (ARSB), this Assay Genie ELISA Kit supports research into lysosomal storage disorders, in particular Mucopolysaccharidosis VI (Maroteaux-Lamy syndrome), where loss of ARSB activity leads to accumulation of dermatan sulfate. ARSB, also called N-acetylgalactosamine-4-sulfatase, is a lysosomal enzyme that removes the 4-sulfate group from N-acetylgalactosamine residues during glycosaminoglycan catabolism. The kit is for research use only and has been validated for quantifying ARSB in plasma, serum, and cell culture supernatant.
