Human Arylsulfatase A (ARSA) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the colorimetric detection of Arylsulfatase A (ARSA) levels in human samples. The assay is reactive with both natural and recombinant human ARSA, and is intended for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids.

The kit delivers a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.12 ng/mL. Precision is reported at an intra-assay CV of 3.8% and inter-assay CV of 8.4%. Linearity has been evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across serial dilutions, with recovery in serum averaging 101% (range 95–107%) and in plasma averaging 103% (range 97–109%). ARSA is a lysosomal enzyme that hydrolyses cerebroside sulfate, and the kit is supplied for research use only, with particular relevance to neuroscience research.
