Description

A colorimetric Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of human Aryl hydrocarbon receptor nuclear translocator (ARNT) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant human ARNT and is intended for research use only.

ARNT (also known as HIF-1-beta, bHLHe2, dioxin receptor nuclear translocator, Class E basic helix-loop-helix protein 2, or BHLHE2) is a nuclear transcription factor required for activity of the aryl hydrocarbon (dioxin) receptor and acts as a transcriptional regulator of the adaptive response to hypoxia through heterodimerization with HIF1A and EPAS1/HIF2A. The protein has a molecular weight of 86,366 Da (UniProt P27540). Dysregulation of ARNT has been linked to cancer, diabetes, and cardiovascular disorders, supporting its relevance to epigenetics research.

The kit delivers a detection range of 0.156-10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.056 ng/mL, with intra-assay precision of 5.4% CV and inter-assay precision of 8.9% CV. Absorbance is read at 450 nm following TMB substrate development.
