Human Aryl hydrocarbon Receptor/AHR ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Human Aryl hydrocarbon Receptor/AHR ELISA Kit is a Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody assay designed for the quantitative measurement of AHR (also known as Ah receptor, AH-receptor, aromatic hydrocarbon receptor, BHLHE76, or Class E basic helix-loop-helix protein 76) in human samples. The Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor is a transcription factor that regulates xenobiotic metabolism, immunity, and inflammation, and its dysregulation has been linked to cancer, autoimmune disorders, and metabolic conditions.

The kit has a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a detection range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. It accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. Recovery averaged 91% in serum (range 81-98%), 88% in EDTA plasma (range 81-97%), and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80-88%). Linearity at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions was demonstrated across the same matrices. The workflow uses a biotin-labeled detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin, with TMB substrate development and absorbance read at 450 nm, making it a colorimetric assay suitable for cell biology research.
