Human Aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AHR) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for quantitative measurement of human Aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AHR) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit uses a colorimetric detection method and is stated to be specific for natural and recombinant human AHR.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.15 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 4.9% and an inter-assay CV of 7.9%. Reported recovery averages 88% (range 82–94%) for serum and 90% (range 84–96%) for plasma. AHR is described as a ligand-activated transcriptional activator that binds to the XRE promoter region and is involved in xenobiotic metabolism, cell-cycle regulation and circadian clock regulation.
