Human ARRB2/Beta arrestin 2 ELISA Kit

A high-quality Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the precise measurement of beta-arrestin 2 (ARRB2) levels in human biological samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method with a sandwich, double-antibody configuration, offering a sensitivity of 37.5 pg/mL and a detection range of 62.5–4000 pg/mL. Kits are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

Beta-arrestin 2 is a key regulatory protein involved in G protein-coupled receptor signaling, mediating receptor desensitization and internalization. Dysregulation of beta-arrestin 2 has been linked to diseases including cancer, cardiovascular disorders, and inflammatory conditions, supporting research applications in these areas. Reported linearity across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 spans 88–105%, 85–96%, and 85–100% for serum (n=5); 88–97%, 82–96%, and 84–99% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 80–99%, 89–98%, and 81–99% for heparin plasma (n=5). Spike-recovery averages are 92% for serum (range 86–98%), 96% for EDTA plasma (range 87–105%), and 92% for heparin plasma (range 85–103%).

The recommended workflow involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, loading standards, samples, and blanks, incubating at 37°C for 90 minutes for antigen binding, adding biotin-labeled detection antibody with a 37°C / 60-minute incubation, binding HRP-streptavidin at 37°C for 30 minutes, developing with TMB substrate in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and reading absorbance at 450 nm after stop solution addition.
