Human Arachidonate 15-lipoxygenase B/ALOX15B ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Arachidonate 15-lipoxygenase B (ALOX15B) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Using a colorimetric, double-antibody sandwich detection format, the kit offers a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL.

The target, ALOX15B, is a key enzyme involved in the metabolism of arachidonic acid and plays a vital role in inflammation and immune response regulation, supporting research in the area of metabolism. Dysregulation of ALOX15B has been linked to conditions such as asthma, atherosclerosis, and cancer, making it a focus of investigation as a potential therapeutic target and biomarker. Kit reagents should be stored at 2–8°C and remain stable for 12 months.

The assay workflow includes equilibrating reagents to room temperature and incubating standards and samples on the pre-coated plate at 37°C for 90 minutes. A biotin-labeled detection antibody is then added and incubated at 37°C for 60 minutes, followed by HRP-Streptavidin for 30 minutes. After adding TMB substrate and incubating in the dark for 10–20 minutes, the reaction is stopped and absorbance is read immediately at 450 nm.
