Human AR (Androgen Receptor) CLIA Kit (HUES00353)

A chemiluminescence immunoassay from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of human Androgen Receptor (AR) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The kit uses a sandwich-CLIA format and is suited to research in Cancer, Signal Transduction and Cell Biology, supporting studies of androgen signalling in processes such as development, reproduction and metabolism, and investigations into conditions including prostate cancer, androgen insensitivity syndrome and polycystic ovary syndrome.

Manufacturer-reported performance includes a sensitivity of 46.88 pg/mL, a detection range of 78.13-5000 pg/mL and a sample volume of 100 μL, with an overall recovery span of 80%-120%. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between Human AR and analogues has been observed. Reported intra-assay CVs were 11.76%, 11.98% and 9.9% across three sample levels; corresponding inter-assay CVs were 10.19%, 7.69% and 9.77%. Recovery in EDTA plasma averaged 99% (range 92-109%) and in cell culture media averaged 107% (range 102-117%). The assay runs in approximately 3 h 30 min and components are stored at 2-8℃/-20℃.
