Human AQP2/Aquaporin-2 ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of Human AQP-2 (Aquaporin 2) in serum, plasma, and other biological fluids, using a double-antibody detection method. Aquaporin 2 is a renal collecting duct water channel protein, and dysregulation of AQP2 has been linked to conditions such as nephrogenic diabetes insipidus, making it a valuable biomarker for kidney-related research.

The assay has a stated sensitivity of 0.188ng/ml and a working range of 0.313-20ng/ml. Reported recovery from spiked samples is 93-104% (average 98%) for serum (n=5), 88-104% (average 95%) for EDTA plasma (n=5), and 86-105% (average 94%) for UFH plasma (n=5). Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions is reported as 86-104%, 88-105%, and 91-104% respectively for serum (n=5), with comparable ranges for EDTA and UFH plasma. Precision is reported as intra-assay CV<8% and inter-assay CV<10%. The kit is intended For Research Use Only and should be stored at 4°C for 6 months.
