Human APT/Abnormal Prothrombin ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of abnormal prothrombin (Factor II) in human samples, this Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie uses a colorimetric detection method and supports research into blood clotting, coagulation disorders, cardiovascular disease and liver disease. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Linearity for serum spanned 85–105%, EDTA plasma 82–101% and heparin plasma 80–99% across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions, while spike-and-recovery averaged 97% in serum, 95% in EDTA plasma and 94% in heparin plasma. The kit is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months and includes a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labelled detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate and the buffers required to run the sandwich double-antibody protocol.
