Human Appetite-regulating hormone (GHRL) ELISA Kit

The kit has been validated for use with human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and is intended for cardiovascular research applications, supporting studies of appetite regulation, energy balance, obesity and metabolic disease.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156-10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.08 ng/mL, with an intra-assay precision of 6.1% CV and inter-assay precision of 9.3% CV. Linearity has been demonstrated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. Recovery is 98% in serum (range 92-104%) and 100% in plasma (range 94-106%). The kit shows specificity for natural and recombinant human Appetite-regulating hormone and uses a competitive assay format.
