Linearity spans from 85% to 120% across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, with serum recovery averaging 104% (range 98–110%) and plasma recovery averaging 106% (range 100–112%).

The kit is specific to natural and recombinant human apoptosis regulatory protein Siva (UniProt O15304). SIVA1 is a proapoptotic protein that induces CD27-mediated apoptosis, inhibits BCL2L1 isoform Bcl-x(L) anti-apoptotic activity, inhibits activation of NF-kappa-B, and promotes T-cell receptor-mediated apoptosis.
