Human Apolipoprotein C3 (APOC3) ELISA Kit

Apolipoprotein C3 (APOC3) is a 79-amino-acid protein synthesized primarily in the liver that modulates triglyceride-rich lipoprotein metabolism through inhibition of lipoprotein lipase and hepatic lipase. Circulating APOC3 concentrations are widely used as a biomarker in studies of hypertriglyceridemia, metabolic syndrome, type 2 diabetes, and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, where elevated levels associate with adverse lipid profiles.

The Assay Genie kit employs a capture antibody specific to the human APOC3 sequence on a pre-coated plate, calibrated for quantitative measurement in biofluid sample matrices relevant to lipid research. The antibody pair has been validated for selective detection of human APOC3, with no significant cross-reactivity observed against analogous rodent apolipoproteins.

Reconstituted reagents should be refrigerated between uses, and the chromogenic substrate should be protected from light during the colour-development incubation. The kit is supplied for research use only and is not validated for clinical diagnostic applications.
