Human Apolipoprotein C-I (APOC1) ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of human Apolipoprotein C-I (APOC1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The assay targets a secreted protein that plays a central role in lipid metabolism, regulating cholesterol levels and lipid transport. APOC1 associates with high density lipoproteins (HDL) and triacylglycerol-rich lipoproteins, and acts as the major plasma inhibitor of cholesteryl ester transfer protein (CETP).

The kit offers a detection range of 1.56-100ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.57ng/mL. Intra-assay precision is 5.1% CV and inter-assay precision is 10.2% CV. Linearity has been validated across serum (95-120%), EDTA plasma (82-120%), and heparin plasma (89-118%) at dilution ratios from 1:2 to 1:16. Recovery is 103% in serum (range 97-109%) and 105% in plasma (range 99-111%). The assay shows specificity for natural and recombinant human Apolipoprotein C-I and is intended for cardiovascular research applications. For research use only.
