Human ApoER2/LRP8 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody assay designed to quantify APOER2 (LRP8) in human samples. The kit is reactive with human specimens and is suitable for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Colorimetric detection is employed, with absorbance read at 450 nm after TMB substrate development and stop solution addition. Storage is recommended at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. Linearity data are provided for serum (90-96%, 92-105%, 85-100%), EDTA plasma (88-94%, 85-98%, 84-101%), and heparin plasma (82-93%, 85-101%, 80-98%) at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions (n = 5). Recovery ranges are 88-103% (average 96%) for serum, 86-99% (average 95%) for EDTA plasma, and 89-100% (average 95%) for heparin plasma (n = 5). The assay procedure involves equilibrating reagents, a 37°C primary incubation of 90 minutes for antigen binding, biotin-labeled detection antibody incubation for 60 minutes at 37°C, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding for 30 minutes at 37°C, and TMB color development in the dark for 10-20 minutes.
