Human APEX1/APE1 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a sandwich ELISA built on a double-antibody format for the precise measurement of APEX1 (also known as APE1) in human samples. The colorimetric detection method supports accurate and reproducible quantification across research applications targeting this DNA repair enzyme, which protects cells from oxidative stress and contributes to genomic stability. APEX1 is recognized as a key biomarker in cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and cardiovascular diseases, making this kit a useful tool for studying disease mechanisms and potential therapeutic strategies.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay delivers a detection range of 0.313–20 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL. Kit components should be stored at 2–8 °C, where they remain stable for up to 12 months.

Linearity was confirmed across dilution ratios of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 in serum (85–104%, 85–96%, 86–100%), EDTA plasma (85–100%, 82–101%, 84–97%), and heparin plasma (85–103%, 87–101%, 90–100%). Recovery testing yielded average values of 93% for serum (range 89–101%), 96% for EDTA plasma (range 92–102%), and 90% for heparin plasma (range 88–97%).
