Human Apelin receptor (APLNR) ELISA Kit

Designed by Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of human Apelin receptor (APLNR) levels, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is intended for research use only. The assay is reactive with human samples and validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The reported detection range is 0.312-20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.174 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 4.8% and an inter-assay CV of 6.7%.

Specificity covers natural and recombinant human Apelin receptor. Linearity has been established at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in serum (104-114%, 80-91%, 80-90% and 113-123% respectively), EDTA plasma (96-107%, 105-115%, 96-105% and 96-107%) and heparin plasma (81-93%, 94-103%, 91-103% and 91-101%). Recovery averages 85% in serum (range 80-91%) and 87% in plasma (range 81-93%).

APLNR, also referred to as Angiotensin receptor-like 1, G-protein coupled receptor APJ, G-protein coupled receptor HG11, AGTRL1 and APJ, is a G-protein coupled receptor (UniProt P35414) coupled to G proteins that inhibit adenylate cyclase activity, with described roles in blood pressure regulation, heart contractility, heart failure, gastrulation and heart morphogenesis; it also acts as a receptor for the APELA hormone and as an alternative coreceptor with CD4 for HIV-1 infection.
