Human Apelin-13 (APLN13) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of human Apelin-13 (APLN13) in serum, plasma, saliva, urine, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants, and other biological fluids. The assay employs a biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate, with absorbance measured at 450 nm. The detection range is 78-5000pg/mL with a sensitivity of 33pg/mL. Precision is supported by an intra-assay CV of 4.0% and inter-assay CV of 6.5%. Linearity across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 ranges 98-120% in serum, 90-120% in EDTA plasma, and 88-120% in heparin plasma. Spike recovery averages 85% (80-91%) for serum and 87% (81-93%) for plasma. The kit is specific for natural and recombinant human Apelin-13.

Apelin-13 is a 13 amino acid peptide corresponding to sequence 65-77 of the apelin pre-proprotein, involved in regulating cardiovascular functions, energy metabolism, and inflammation.
