Human APC/Adenomatous polyposis coli protein ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie enables quantitative detection of human Adenomatous Polyposis Coli (APC) protein in research samples. The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich format with a reported sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL across a standard range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL, and absorbance is read at 450 nm following TMB color development.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and the kit is intended for use with human specimens. The kit is supplied for storage at 2-8°C for 12 months.

APC protein is a critical tumor suppressor involved in regulating cell proliferation and differentiation, and mutations in the APC gene are associated with the development of various cancers, particularly colorectal cancer. Reported serum recovery averages 100% across a 94-104% range (n = 5), with EDTA plasma averaging 95% (87-103%) and heparin plasma averaging 98% (91-105%).
