Human AP1M1/AP-1 complex subunit mu-1 ELISA Kit

This competitive, colorimetric ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the accurate detection of AP1M1 (AP-1 Complex Subunit Mu-1) levels in human samples. The kit is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and offers a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL with a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. AP1M1 is a key subunit of the AP-1 complex, which plays a crucial role in intracellular protein trafficking and sorting, and its dysregulation has been implicated in neurodegenerative disorders, immune system dysfunction, and metabolic disorders.

The assay uses a competitive ELISA format with antigen-coated wells. Standards or samples are combined with a biotin-labeled antibody, followed by HRP-streptavidin detection and TMB substrate development, with absorbance read at 450 nm. Validated performance includes linearity in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across dilution series, and recovery in serum (95–102%, average 95%), EDTA plasma (85–101%, average 92%), and heparin plasma (91–105%, average 97%). The kit should be stored at 2–8°C (sealed) and not cryopreserved.
