Human Anti-MPO/p-ANCA ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this indirect ELISA kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human anti-myeloperoxidase (anti-MPO) autoantibodies, also referred to as p-ANCA, in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. Anti-MPO antibodies target myeloperoxidase, an enzyme found in neutrophil granules, and are recognised as key markers in autoimmune diseases such as ANCA-associated vasculitis. Detection of these antibodies supports disease diagnosis, monitoring of progression and evaluation of treatment strategies, making the kit a useful resource for researchers and clinicians studying autoimmune conditions.

The assay reports a sensitivity of 1.875 ng/ml and a measuring range of 3.125–200 ng/ml. Precision is stated as intra-assay CV<5% and inter-assay CV<6%. In spike-and-recovery testing, average recovery was 91% in serum (range 87–97%), 95% in EDTA plasma (range 85–104%) and 91% in heparin plasma (range 87–93%). Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions was demonstrated at 88–104%, 86–99% and 89–103% in serum; 89–100%, 85–91% and 84–94% in EDTA plasma; and 82–97%, 82–95% and 83–96% in heparin plasma. Reagents are stored at 4°C for 6 months, with the lyophilised standard additionally suitable for –20°C.
