Human Anti-CRP/Anti-C Reactive Protein ELISA Kit

A high-quality immunoassay from Assay Genie designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of Human Anti-CRP (Anti-C Reactive Protein) concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The kit uses an indirect ELISA format with Biotin detection and is reactive with human samples, including serum, plasma and cell culture supernatants.

Sensitivity is reported at 0.938 ng/ml, with an assay range of 1.563–100 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery validation gave the following ranges and averages (n=5): serum 88–105% (average 97%), EDTA plasma 89–104% (average 94%) and UFH plasma 86–105% (average 97%). Linearity, expressed as the percentage of calculated versus expected concentration for 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 serial dilutions, was 85–105%, 86–98% and 85–101% in serum; 85–101%, 91–101% and 82–98% in EDTA plasma; and 81–93%, 81–100% and 81–93% in UFH plasma. Precision is quoted as intra-assay CV <8% and inter-assay CV <10%.

The kit is supplied with an 8×12 strip dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilised standard, sample/standard dilution buffer, biotin-labelled antibody concentrate with antibody dilution buffer, HRP-Streptavidin Conjugate (SABC) with diluent, TMB substrate, stop solution, 25× wash buffer and plate sealer. The protocol uses a biotin-labelled antibody followed by SABC detection, TMB development and absorbance reading at 450 nm. The kit is for Research Use Only and is stored at 4°C for 6 months.
