Human Anti-C1q-Ab/Anti-Complement 1q Antibody ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the accurate and sensitive detection of anti-C1q antibodies (anti-Complement 1q) in human samples. It is configured as a double-antigen assay and uses a colorimetric detection method based on TMB substrate development, with absorbance read at 450 nm after addition of stop solution.

The kit is intended for use with human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and the manufacturer reports a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL with an assay range of 1.563–100 ng/mL. Anti-C1q antibodies are important markers of autoimmune disorders, particularly systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and lupus nephritis, supporting research and clinical monitoring of these conditions.

Manufacturer-reported linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is 86–105%, 84–99% and 86–100% for serum; 84–98%, 84–100% and 89–101% for EDTA plasma; and 87–101%, 85–101% and 89–98% for heparin plasma. Recovery ranges are 86–105% (serum, average 91%), 85–104% (EDTA plasma, average 95%) and 91–100% (heparin plasma, average 94%). Unopened kits should be stored sealed at 2–8°C and not cryopreserved.
