Human anti-2019-nCoV (N)IgM ELISA Kit (HUFI03473)

The Human anti-2019-nCoV (N)IgM ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is an in vitro research reagent for the qualitative detection of IgM class antibodies directed against the SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid (N) protein. Because IgM rises earliest during the primary humoral response, this microplate assay is widely applied in seroprevalence surveys, vaccine immunogenicity studies, and investigations of recent or acute-phase infection where the timing of seroconversion is the variable of interest.

Each kit provides a pre-coated antigen plate, ready-to-use buffers, conjugate, substrate, and reference controls sufficient for the full 96 Assays plate format. The protocol follows an indirect ELISA workflow in which diluted specimen is incubated on the coated plate, bound IgM is detected with an enzyme-labeled anti-human IgM secondary antibody, and a colorimetric substrate reaction is read and interpreted against the kit cut-off. Reagents should be stored refrigerated and protected from light, with aliquots prepared to minimize freeze-thaw cycles across runs.

Research applications include screening convalescent and acute-phase cohorts, comparing antibody kinetics across vaccine candidates, and supporting immunological studies of COVID-19. A sample volume of 50 uL is added per well, and results are reported as reactive or non-reactive relative to the supplied positive and negative reference controls.
