Human Anthrax Toxin Receptor 2 (ANTXR2) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie Human ANTXR2 ELISA Kit quantifies Anthrax Toxin Receptor 2, also called capillary morphogenesis gene 2 (CMG2), a type I transmembrane glycoprotein that binds the protective antigen of Bacillus anthracis to enable toxin internalization, and independently contributes to extracellular matrix adhesion and capillary tube formation.

This two-antibody immunoassay supports research into anthrax pathogenesis and toxin entry, loss-of-function disorders such as hyaline fibromatosis syndrome and infantile systemic hyalinosis, and ANTXR2 expression in tumor stroma and angiogenic tissues.

Each kit includes a pre-coated microplate, biotinylated detection antibody, recombinant ANTXR2 standard, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer, substrate, and stop solution. Reagents should be stored refrigerated; reconstituted standard should be aliquoted and held frozen to limit freeze-thaw cycles.

The protocol uses a 100 uL sample volume per well, with absorbance read on a standard microplate reader, and is validated for tissue homogenates and cell lysates.
