Human ANOS1 (Anosmin-1) ELISA KIT (HUFI05108)

This Assay Genie kit enables ELISA-based quantification of human Anosmin-1, the extracellular matrix glycoprotein encoded by the ANOS1 gene (formerly designated KAL1) on the X chromosome.

Loss-of-function mutations in this locus underlie X-linked Kallmann syndrome, a developmental disorder combining idiopathic hypogonadotropic hypogonadism with anosmia, which makes circulating protein measurement valuable for reproductive endocrinology and neurodevelopmental research programmes.

The kit provides a microplate pre-coated with capture antibody specific to Anosmin-1, calibrated for use with human serum and matched plasma-type clinical specimens. Researchers investigating GnRH neuron migration, olfactory bulb morphogenesis, FGF signalling pathways, or patient stratification within Kallmann syndrome cohorts can apply the assay to case and control cohorts.
