Human Annexin A6 (ANXA6) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Annexin A6 (ANXA6) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The assay is configured for human reactivity and is specific to natural and recombinant human Annexin A6 (UniProt P08133).

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 0.098 ng/mL and a detection range of 0.156-10 ng/mL, supported by an intra-assay CV of 5.7% and an inter-assay CV of 10.6%. Recovery in serum is 107% on average (range 101-113%) and in plasma is 109% on average (range 103-115%). Linearity across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 was 100-109%, 101-110%, 106-115%, and 89-99% for serum (N=5); 81-91%, 87-96%, 100-112%, and 94-104% for EDTA plasma (N=5); and 100-108%, 108-117%, 109-119%, and 87-97% for heparin plasma (N=5).

Annexin A6 is a calcium-dependent phospholipid-binding protein with roles in cell membrane organization, intracellular trafficking, endocytosis, and exocytosis. Dysregulation of the protein has been implicated in cancer, cardiovascular, and neurodegenerative conditions. It is also localized to melanosome fractions (identified by mass spectrometry from stages I to IV). The kit is supplied for research use only.
