Human Annexin A5/ANXA5 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is configured for the measurement of human Annexin A5 (ANXA5) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The double-antibody format uses a biotin-labelled detection antibody with HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) and TMB substrate, providing a colorimetric readout measured at 450 nm after stop solution.

Sensitivity is 0.938 ng/mL with a working range of 1.563–100 ng/mL. Dilution linearity (n=5) is 83–100% (1:2), 82–99% (1:4) and 82–91% (1:8) in serum; 84–96%, 84–100% and 85–104% in EDTA plasma; and 90–101%, 85–99% and 87–91% in heparin plasma. Spike-recovery averages are 96% (serum), 95% (EDTA plasma) and 97% (heparin plasma) over the same matrix range. All reagents are stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months.

The protocol proceeds through plate and reagent equilibration, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotinylated detection antibody for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin for 30 minutes, TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and immediate absorbance reading at 450 nm. Annexin A5 is implicated in cell membrane organisation, apoptosis and blood coagulation, and the kit is intended for cardiovascular and broader research investigating this protein in health and disease.
