Human Annexin A2 (ANXA2) ELISA Kit

A sandwich-format ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of human Annexin A2 (ANXA2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The kit is specific for natural and recombinant human Annexin A2 and uses a colorimetric detection method, making it suitable for studies of this calcium-regulated membrane-binding protein.

With a detection range of 0.625-40 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.23 ng/mL, the assay delivers reproducible performance reflected in intra-assay CV of 5.4% and inter-assay CV of 6.9%. Linearity was validated across dilutions of 1:2 to 1:16 in serum (100-108% to 82-94%), EDTA plasma (98-107% to 95-105%), and heparin plasma (91-101% to 107-119%), with mean recoveries of 86% for serum and 88% for plasma.

Annexin A2 is involved in cell signaling, membrane trafficking, and cell survival, and its dysregulation has been linked to cancer, inflammation, and autoimmune disorders, supporting its use as a biomarker for studying these conditions and developing potential therapeutic interventions.
