Assay Genie's ANXA11 ELISA is intended for quantitative measurement of Annexin A11 in human samples. The target, encoded by the ANXA11 gene on chromosome 10q22.3, is a 56 kDa calcium-dependent phospholipid-binding protein that has attracted research interest because missense variants such as p.G38R and p.D40G have been mapped to the ALS16 locus for familial amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, while differential expression has been reported in ovarian, breast, and lung cancers. The kit is supplied as a microplate containing capture antibody pre-coated wells, with all reagents shipped refrigerated. Reconstituted standard should be aliquoted and frozen at -20°C to limit freeze-thaw loss, and the kit is intended for research use only.
