Human ANGPTL8/Betatrophin ELISA Kit

Assay Genie supplies this sandwich double-antibody ELISA kit for the quantitative measurement of Human ANGPTL8/Betatrophin. The assay is run on a pre-coated microplate, where standards and samples are incubated to allow the target analyte to bind the immobilised capture antibody, followed by a biotinylated detection antibody, HRP-conjugated Streptavidin, and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a microplate reader.

Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reported performance characteristics from the manufacturer are a sensitivity of 28.125 pg/mL and a standard curve range of 46.875-3000 pg/mL. Spiking recovery averaged 94% in serum, 99% in EDTA plasma, and 98% in heparin plasma, while dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions fell within 80-104% for all three matrices. The kit is intended for human samples and is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
