Human ANGPTL2/Angiopoietin-related protein 2 ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative detection of human ANGPTL2 (Angiopoietin-related protein 2), also referred to as Angiopoietin-like protein 2, ARP2, HARP, or ANGRP2 (Uniprot Q9UKU9). It is reactive with human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, using a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric readout.

Sensitivity is 18.75 pg/mL and the assay range is 31.25–2000 pg/mL. Kits are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. The workflow includes equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate, loading standards and samples, incubating at 37°C for 90 minutes, adding biotin-labelled detection antibody for 60 minutes, adding HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) for 30 minutes, developing with TMB in the dark for 10–20 minutes, then adding stop solution and reading absorbance at 450 nm.

Reported linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions (n=5) is 91–105%, 85–105% and 87–100% for serum; 89–101%, 82–100% and 83–100% for EDTA plasma; and 80–93%, 92–100% and 85–100% for heparin plasma. Average recovery is 90% for serum, 97% for EDTA plasma and 94% for heparin plasma.
