Human Angiotensin II ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Competitive ELISA (Coated with Antigen) is designed for the quantitative measurement of Angiotensin II (ANG II) in human samples. The kit accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and is suited to research into the renin-angiotensin system, blood pressure regulation, and associated conditions such as hypertension, heart failure, and kidney disease.

The assay reports a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a measuring range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL. The workflow includes equilibrating the TMB substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature, adding 50 µL of standard or sample followed by 50 µL of biotin-labeled antibody to each well, incubating at 37 °C for 45 minutes, washing five times with a 1-minute soak per wash, developing color with TMB substrate in the dark at 37 °C for 10–20 minutes, adding stop solution (blue to yellow), and reading absorbance at 450 nm on a microplate reader.

Reported recovery in spiked samples is 85–95% (average 90%) for serum (n=10), 86–103% (average 94%) for EDTA plasma (n=10), and 87–103% (average 95%) for heparin plasma (n=10). Linearity ranges across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions are also provided for these matrices. The kit should be stored at 2–8 °C while sealed and should not be cryopreserved.
